how much oil?

im changing my oil tomorrow, do i just fill it up to the edge of the dipstick or what?

Mine holds exactly 2 quarts.

I put about 1.7 quarts in my tank. Then run it for a second and put the rest of the quart in.

When you check your dipstick do not screw it in. Just put it against the thread and check it. There should be a place that says max and min. Get it as close to max as possible.

Your owners manual (if you have one) will tell you exactly how much also. Honda Factory will probably recommend less than 2 quarts, but it probably isn't a big deal if you put both in.

I just did mine and honda recomends filling 1.6 quarts, then running the engine, and then filling to roughly 1.95 quarts. Just check your oil when you are done and be sure its good on your dip stick.
