Hey i was looking at jet kits for my 450r and i saw this Dial a jet kit does anyone know anything about it if it is good or what thanks

I would not get a dial a jet, my cousin has had waaay too much problems with his. Just buy regular jets for your quad and save the frustrations. He had problems with it not keeping a setting. Maybe he got a lemon though, who knows.

The reports I've heard are all across the board on the Dial-A-Jet system. Their primary selling point is the ability to make external jetting changes (i.e. once installed you don't have to change your main jet--you adjust an external dial instead). They only situation I can see that being advantagous is when riding long distances with large (many thousands of feet) elevation changes.

If that is situation you frequently encounter, you run a vented airbox lid--tape up the vents down low and then remove the tape up high.
