my friend has a 06 450r with hrc kit and white brothers slip on, and some head work, what else ca he to do increase his performance with what he's got. was wondering if a 14 tooth sprocket would kill his bottom end, it raps out very quick right now, also didnt knowif he could gain from taking the hrc head pipe off and replacing with a full aftermarket.

A higher compression piston, new ignition (vortex), port and polish, titanium springs, bigger valves, maybe a bore kit.

The 14 tooth wouldn't kill all of the bottom end but it would take away some of it.

And replacing the HRC header with a full system will not make a difference. Some people swear by the HRC header.

I would go with a 13.5 or 14.1 comp. piston. And I dont know about the 06 have titanium, maybe someone can clear this up for us.

the stock valves are 2 piece. with alot of load they could break.

You dont need bigger valves unless u go with a big azs Big bore kit. It wont do a thing.

I dont think the 05 has titanium intake valves. I thought that was one of many things they changed.
