400ex or raptor

i need a quad for some freestyle and mx. I want it to handle good in the air and have a lot of power. I would go with a z or kfx but the frame and other **** thats wrong.

Frame probs have been fixed on the Z/KFX. Between the 400ex and Raptor... As a former Raptor owner and what kind of riding you wanna do, I'd say go with the 400ex.

frames are only bad on 03 z400s. i like mine better than a 400ex. for mx and freestyle and lots of power, your better off getting a 450r, yfz450, or ltr450. youd be better off in the long run.

Out of the two you posted, a 400EX for sure. Raptors can be raced no doubt, but it will take alot more money, and with the same into the EX, you would STILL take the Raptor. For freestyle, a 400EX has one of the best designs on the market IMO. Not overpowered for land freestyle and relatively easy to throw around (Especially whe compared to the Raptor).

However, there is nothing wrong with the Suzukawicat 400s. Just like any other bikes, at one time in its production there were a few minor problems... be aware of potentially dangerous years, and be happy. Not all are duds anyway. Between the Z and EX, it is really personal choice on which you feel more comfortable with. Each have there pros and cons when comparing, but both are great bikes!

Definetly go for the 400! in the trails I have compared the 2 and the 400 is definetly better in the trails. Alos, the 400EX is cheaper in it is worth the price. If you go with the 700, you will be having the good power but the price is the same as the YFZ.

Im sorry to say, but i beg to differ the 400ex is most Definitely not better then a Raptor. I have had hondas and yamahas both and i seem to like yamahas better. There both very reliable.
