Oversized Oil Tank

does anyone have an oversized fuel tank on there 400 with an aftermarket exhaust? i heard that sometimes they wont fit...i just bought one on ebay today and im kind of nervous it wont fit with my Trinity Stage IV exhaust...

nobody has an oversized oil tank or any information?

I did see this somewhere also. Said the tank "may not fit" with aftermarket head pipes.

I've met one person with one (not sure if it was oversized or just billet but it was not stock) and it fit fine with his sparks exhaust. Im wanting to get one for mine too so let us know how it works out. ;)

I've got a friend with a sparks system and a aftermarket tank (not sure which one). No clearence issues for him.

i have a oversized tank with Big Gun race header and its a close fit. your tank will probaly fit so dont worry about it.

yea i was looking at the sparks head pipes, and there a lot tighter with the motor than other ones. im kinda worried about it touching because i dont want it to boil my oil...that would defeat the whole purpose...so i think ill throw some head tape on my head pipe to be safe.

I have the UM oversized oil tank, I had major problems getting the stock headers to fit in there. I ended up having to take most of it apart so i could take out two of the engine mount bolts and raising the front of the engine to get the stock headers in...

A little while later i bought the sparks pipe, and man those are really close to the engine. So, i didn't have a problem at all with the sparks and the oil tank!!
