My new favorite movie, Dust To Glory. If you haven't seen it, watching this dvd NEEDS to move to the top of your short list.

I was blown away. Absolutely BLOWN AWAY. I've seen it five times and that's still not enough. With the surround sound cranked up I get goose bumps, for christ's sake!!

It's a documentry type film that chronicals the 2003 Baja 1000. This is a big budget film (for a documentry) and is very, very well done. They mention all types of competitors (quads included) but focus on the trophy trucks and the bikes. The bikes get the lions share of screen time (which I love because I ride an XR650R--the preeminent Baja bike).

It's equal parts exciting and inspiring. If you like motorsports, you're gonna LOVE this movie. It was made by Dana Brown who is the son of Bruce Brown, the maker of the 1971 cult classic, On Any Sunday.

You can rent Dust To Glory at Blockbuster but I highly encourage everyone to just buy the DVD. It barely costs more than renting anyway. Plus, you'll want to watch it more than once. But more importantly, this movie needs our $$$ support and renting doesn't help that. If we ever want to see more big budget movies about off-road racing made (and we do!!) then Dust To Glory needs to be a commercial success.

Yep...also my favorite movie, hands down.

As a desert racer, It's very exciting to see such a big movie dedicated to desert racing. Of course, it's only the Baja 1000..but still, very awsome.

EVERYONE should see this movie

Yep, very good movie. I think that even you weren't interested in racing that it would still be enjoyable. I own the DVD and the soundtrack.

One of my favorite movies too, I watched it like 3 times in one day. Its amazing how Mccoy raced it all by himself, imagine the arm pump:eek2:

That movie is the greatest. I have a huge obsession with baja, too bad I live on NY. But one day I will build my own trophy truck and race the 1000 in it.
