I have always loved riding waverunners and loved the way they had the throttle lever setup on them. For those of you who don't know its like a weed eater lever. I was wondering if anyone has tried to add a waverunner lever to their ATV yet. I don't think it would get in the way when you are riding, or panic and squeeze it. I think it would be a great thing to try. Just wondering if anyone out there has did this yet. I can get an OEM Yamaha 2005 VX1100 throttle for $61.95

Horrible idea in my opinion.

Scenario: Hair pin corner, slick surface, best way to take it is by riding the front brakes to keep the front end stuck.............how do you ride the front brakes, and give it throttle at the same time.....along with holding on?

Well don't forget the steering wheel and seat belts.

What if somebody got sued and they really did start making us wear seatbelts?

i doubt there will ever be a seat belt on a quad becase if you wreck then your certain to tango with the quad. youd get hurt more with a 400lb machine straped to you. i think rhinos have seat belts, thats it.

Like the quad on one of the huevos films, I think it was matt colter* that added a seatbelt and the two bars running from bumper to grab bar so you can roll end over end. :D

Roll cage with front, rear, and side curtain airbags... 5 point harness attached to the cage...and a high back seat.
