Light question..

I was riding tonight and I turned on my light switch and my lights worked for maybe 2-3 seconds then nothing..

1. Back light doesnt work
2. Both headlights dont work..

What could it be?? I've checked all the grounds and such everything seems to be intact.

Thats what I thought but I cannot find any places where it would short?


The ground that comes from my cdi wasnt attached because it broke the end piece. I put it on and still no lights? But this happened after the light ordeal.

take it all apart then put it all back together.

the bulbs are right ?
the rer one keep burning and burnoig I dont use it anymore because of that
Maybe the controls where you turn them off and on is rusted inside put some wd40 inside and clean it well

Bulbs are fine... I'm stumped literally all I did was turn the switch on and they havent worked since then..

if banshee's have a fuse, check that :confused:

under your rear seat there is a little silver box. swap that with a new one. when you rev the motor that box keeps the voltage under 12v. when it goes bad it will keep popping bulbs.
If the bulbs are fine you have a short somewhere, check the connections.
