ive been looking into getting a 450r and i was wondering... will i be pretty happy with a stock 450r with the hrc kit and a pipe? i had a 99 400ex all it had done was a pipe with 13 tooth in the front and it made me pretty happy for a while but i got rid of it. now i want the 450... any input would be appreciated.

even a bone stock 450r is a hell of a ride. add the hrc adn pipe and it will keep anyone happy for a while

yeah u r right.hmf is a good pipe.it give better low and mid.it makes a huge difference with a jet kit

Was worth every penny, but coming off a hooked up 416ex I still needed to widen my R to make it handle as well as my 416 does.

As you can see from the pictures I had already widened my R by this point and my ex still outhandled it, till I redid my shocks.
