Yfz problem

Yesterday after I washed my quad, it ran okay, then about 1 hr later it would try to turn over but not start.. It started and then ran fine..then 2hrs later it wouldn't start for anything.. Btw, when we did get it runnin, we pull started it.. So today we ripped it down there and this guy kevin helped me out.. And he took his yfz apart too.. We exchanged cdi boxes.coil,s and the rectifier and those parts were not the problem.. We think it might be the stator because its not getting spark.. Mabe some1 out there can help me.

Was your sparkplug screwed in tight? If it wasn’t you could of got water in your head. That what happened on my old 250EX
