Everyone on here was saying running a Dj170 jet was too big so I went down to a DJ165 and it was a tad lean. So today I threw in the 170 again and for some reason when i go WOT it cuts out. Any ideas?

I did the dynojet install procedure for open airbox and slip on for 170 jet and fuel screw out 3.5 turns.

A 170DJ is equivalent to like a 190K or something like that. I, personally, haven't heard of anyone running a 190K on any 400ex no matter how raced out it is. That is just a monster jet and your engine is dieing because it is way too rich and is flooding itself.

Dj 170 is huge. Read my mods, I am running a 155. And yes I am talking about Dynojets.

The fuel screw is part of the pilot circuit. For all practical purposes, it is completely independent of the main jet.
