View Full Version : JP Outlaw frame help

I bought a jp outlaw frame and i was going to build it when i noticed that it came with propegs instead of regular foot pegs. I hate running nerf bars and i was wondering why the foot peg mount was designed the way it was. Basically i cannot run an 86 foot peg because the mounts on the frame are flat instead of offset like the 86-87 250rs came from the factory. If i install an 86 peg it tips it will tip it down too much. Look at pics to see what i mean. Do i have any other alternative for a foot peg. Thanks

for that frame and other lsr frames you have to use their footpegs, jp frames used a different type than is used now. I would call lsr and ask them. Jp is the old name for lsr.

The pics of the peg adapters look exactly like the adapters for my stock '86-'87 frame. I have a set of OEM '86-'87 pegs if you would like them but I'll have to do some digging to find them.

I have a set of pegs that will work with that frame. I took them off my JP frame when I switched to pro pegs. Let me know if you are interested in them.

If you don't end up getting those JP pegs.. I have a set of old pro pef nerf bars.. and you could drill a hole and put the pegs on.. and just cut the rest of the nerf bar off..

the peg mounts on that frame look like you could use a 400ex/450r style peg too if you dont get the other pegs
