I was bored today and started looking for pics of Arens framed 250R's on the net. Does anybody have any experience with the Arens a-arms? NAC's website shows them as still being available? I might grab a set if they are still available.

Description
Arens Brothers all-new A-Arm design features an aluminum upper arm providing a very trick part with maximum performance. Redesigned pivot bushings with freer movement, longer life, less vibration, and better lubrication retention. The exclusive ball joint moves much more freely and has a greater range of motion; ball joint binding is impossible. Arens makes their own stainless steel tie rods for these arms, which are included. A-Arms are available in both standard and long travel designs.

I have seen Arens swingarms and steering stems on Ebay but I have never seen the a-arms or nerfs.

I guess I'll have to make sure I grab the next set of Arens parts I see on Egay.

I wouldn't mind having the stem, a-arms and swingarm for my setup.

Heres what they've been up to for the last year or so. Not sure if Jonh still does R parts or not but I'm sure I could get ahold of him to find out.

Do me a favor and ask him if he has any extra 250R parts. I'm looking for the a-arms and swingarm.

Well now hat I bought them I found the old threads about the problems. Has any of this been resolved anyone know?

Seem to all be instances with +1 LT 400ex arms, I bought +2 ST 250R arms but still I am curious. I called Nacs back and they didnt know anything.

Nacs had a couple sets of the +2 arms on EBAY last week. I got a set of Walsh +2 arms so I am no longer looking for Arens arms:D

I'm returning them to Nac's, I called houser and ordered some of the +1+1 LTs they had left. The price was even better.

If your looking for a good set of A-arms call Houser. Thety were clearancing them out this past fall. They may still have a few sets around. They have been selling them on E-bay I think the screen name they use is ATVpartsbuilder. You may not find the color you want. But I called them last fall when I was looking for some + 1's and they had a few sets left in stock.

If that's what your looking for it's worth a try

My whole bike is Arens. Frame, arms, stem, swingarm, Fatbars. It was Pete Bengel's bike, who is a friend of John's. My arms aren't the ones someone else showed with the aluminum uppers. They are a one-off set that Pete and John built that use Laeger's ball joints. It's my understanding that they still have all the jigs and can still make pretty much anything that you want for an R, just gotta contact them. Pete told me when he gave me this bike that if I ever needed anything or broke anything to just let him know and they'd help me out. Since I'm a 37 year old C-class MX'er and trail rider, I doubt I'll be breaking a lot of things.
