The tracks was in killer shape and it looked as if the turnout would be good. They run up to 200cc quads at these arces so get out there and have some fun with us when the next round comes!

There were not many youth atv's there, but the ones who did race had a blast!

The sun was murder, with temps closing in on the 90 degree mark.

For anyone considering bringing a young kid on thier quad to try this out, let me tell you it is some of the best fun they will have!

I used the practice as an oppertunity to try and get used to my new camera. I had some luck...but I need more practice getting it down.

And ladies are not excluded in pitbike racing, actually they do very very well!

Pappy

Some of these machines have high price tags. There was a good mix of equipment to check out, from mild to wild.

Pappy

The riders range in talent ofcourse, but some of these guys are wide open and really hang it out!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:28 PM
Getting air is easy to some, and they let it rip!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:30 PM
As the sun set, the racing began and the take no prisoner attitude of pitbike racing was on the track and in high gear!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:32 PM
The action can be close or spread out as in any MX race.

Jesse's son, who is 4 years old, ripped it up on his ktm!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:35 PM
He may be 4, but he rode like he had been doing it forever! His dad is a wildman on a bike, and 3 wheeler! he is actually attempting to get into the Guiness Book of World records for the longest jump on a trike!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:37 PM
the action is pretty fast with a shorter track and 5 lap motos, but these guys flat pound it!

Track owner Dan harris chats before the first quad race with Cody. There were a few 250cc quads there, but after they saw Cody in practice they bailed on racing:ermm:

Cody opted to race the 90 class but did not want to be in the running for a plaque, he just wanted someone to race:p

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:41 PM
Cody grabbed the lead and never looked back, he should have, he missed a great race behind him!

Pappy

WhiteYFZ's younger brother was in his first ever race, and he did awesome!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:44 PM
Little Abbey was ripping it up on her miniquad!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:45 PM
Cody was having fun, he would lay back and make sure the little riders were in a good area where he could pass them, then he would be gone.

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:47 PM
The race for 2nd and 3rd was hot! The riders were very equal, quads were similiar and they went at it in every corner!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:48 PM
Cody misunderstood how many laps they were to run, and pulled of a big wave to the crowd a lap early:p

With 1 to go, the TRX90 rider and young Mr. Esposito on his Raptor were hard at it. the TRX90 had taken the #2 spot , but when they approached a slower rider, Mr. Esposito made his move passing them both and regaining the #2 spot and he held it for the lap!

Abbey was ready for payback after the race. She quickly donned some mud and went looking for the nearest boy to smear it on!:D

My niece raced her first race tonight and was having a ton of fun!

Pappy

The folks behind Breezewood, Dan, Amanda and Abbey. You will not find better people to ride with, they deffinatley go way out of thier way to make sure you have a great time when you come there to ride.

I grabbed a pic of the crowd under the lights watching tonights action

Pappy

I am not a bike guy, but pitbike racing is cool in my book!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 10:59 PM
Some of the classes are so tight, you cant stop watching!

Pappy
06-17-2006, 11:02 PM
Each event, a few more show up to race and watch. If your into pitbikes, spread the word.

Jesse getting his junior racer suited up for his 2nd moto.

Jesse also serves as the last word on protests. He can tear the cylinder off your engine to speed up the tear down process:p

Dan and his crew put up a message for the late Jody Crum to be remembered by those who rode with him at Breezewood. It was a nice touch for those of us who knew him...thanks Dan

You can see the extensive track in the background. Dan is well on his way to establishing one of the best pitbike/youth atv tracks on the east coast!

I wasnt as happy with the pics from my new set up as I wanted to be. I will be buying a laptop so I can check things trackside

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:04 AM
The trackside lights worked great, and as it got darker the riders dd not have any issues seeing every spot on the track

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:07 AM
The next race is in July and should be another kick *** time!

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:11 AM
This was probably Cody's last race on the 90, it will have the TRX90 engine installed and my youngest son Ryan will strat racing it!

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:14 AM
If we could get more mini quads to attend, it would be awesome.

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:15 AM
The mini quad classes are for fun, and even the smallest riders on the smallest machines can compete!

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:19 AM
Get out there and support a track that is 110% behind YOU! There is no excuses, if Abbey can strap boards to her quad so she can ride, whats you kids problem!

hey pappy, are there any trails there?

Pappy
06-18-2006, 09:31 AM
There used to be a nice loop, but neighboring land owners complained and they were shut down. There is a very small loop but thats it as far as trails

Pappy

I think the next race is in the evening but will be finished before the lights are needed.
