As the title says, I'd prefer a stock 1999 + 400ex engine, but would prefer something newer, say, 2000 or 2001.

Now with that said, I'm not ruling out any big-bore's or anything like that.

I don't want anything that smokes or runs like poop. (obvioulsy)

Please email pics and information to gary_waddle at yahoo dot com

I'm not looking to be the fastest, I just want something relaible and fun on trails and in the mud.

Thanks guys!

(I'll also take PM's)

how much are you wanting to spend?

Not more than $650. I have someone who offered one that had been taken out of a 2001 in 2002 and put on a shelf for $550, but he's in NY. I'm in Dallas. Shipping would own me.

that's less than what I would ask for my engine.

scuzz

Would I need it with all thos modifications? Or could I use my stock carb? (and for that matter, the rest of my stock parts)

Chino886

well, that is the stock carb I was talking about. I think the motor wants more than just the stock carb......

Looking for something a little less extreme than that. I trail ride a lot and would worry about it overheating in the mud. Thank you for the reply though.
