Service 250R

Does anybody actually have the Service Honda 250R? How does it stack compared to the real thing? Does it use a 400EX or 250R frame? And how easily does 250 or 450R plastic fit onto it? I hate 400EX plastics...

I'm thinking about ordering one, by the way.

There is quite a bit of info if you search this topic. Just curious, but why would you want one when you have the original R? If I remember correctly the price was up there for the Service R. Seemed like you could buy a well built R for considerably less than the Service R.

I know someone who has one, and a friend of mine raced him with a piped, HRC 450r and got spanked, so they are definitely fast.
They are based on a 400ex, so unless you already have a decked out 400,(suspension, stem,swinger) you are going to spend a fortune getting it up to par.
5 grand for frame, motor, rad, pipe,elec. and air box...so if you only have so much money to spend, there are better options.
