just bought a 01 400ex for 3000 do yall think thats a good deal it has a pipe and graphics new tires and wheels thats it just wonderin what u thout

and the only thing that worries is the motor ticks slightly it doesnt sound bad but it buggs me do you guys know if it is normal or something tjo worry about

You need to get a feeler guage and check your valves. But, with an aftermarket cam your valves will tick a little..

Sounds like you got a good deal if its in good condition and not burning oil or nothing... But the ticking is pretty much normal to the 400ex's, as long as it not real loud then you should be fine... But you can check your valves if it is real loud.
