300 ex 4 sale

01 300 ex for sale, this is a relist, I got it running since last post. Still needs the base gasket and new valve cover gasket put on, but it does run after I put the new starter cylinoid on. After riding it, it doesnt smoke or anything but does still has a ticking in the motor, this could be from the stage 3 cam its supose to have in it.

But doesnt seem to affect the way it runs.

I dont know exactly, the guy said it has a stage 3 web cam in it although I cant verify this. The mechanic I took it to said it could be from the cam we wasnt sure unless he tore it apart and I didnt want to stick the money into it. Havent really rode the bike but it starts right up and runs ok I guess. Dont notice any smoke out of the exhaust.

Yes Old it is still for sale, I had it out today and it ran pretty good actually. I think something might be wrong with the car it spitter sputtered a bit but cleaned itself out. I ran it against my 400 and was impressed on how well it ran.

Just resealed the valve cover so oil leak is fixed now, changed carbs and it runs great now, I also tightend up the exhaust at the head and it took alot of the ticking noise away so now you can barely hear it. All in all the bike is in pretty good shape now, guess I just needed to mess with some little things to make it right.

The bike has 400 ex a-arms and front shocks, it has nerfs, white bros slip on, was told by previous owner it had a stage 3 web cam and high comp piston. The bike runs really well now that I put on the 300 carb. Im almost about to just keep it and let my kids play with it, but if someone from here is interested in it ill sell it im just not going to put it out for sale at my house.

if its not the cam, try running a higher octane, like 93. my quad made a ticking noise to and felt like it was bogging, I was using 89, switched to 93, havent hear a tick yet. Just a suggestion, free bump.
