I think it is awesome, but If you can afford it, go with the full system,I wish I had done it in the beginning, less headache..We just got the header put on today to complete the full system and to me it made a HUGE difference..But both are good ,and they sound awesome...We have it on the 300ex and the 400ex~~

I had the Wb pipe before I got the Yoshi full system and the Wb pipe is louder than the Yoshi. The Yoshi fells like it makes more power in the top end also.

yeah i would go with the comp series. i think it is the best possible slip on u can buy. my friend has a titanium slip on and wishes that he had a comp series. im not sure, but i hear it adds 2 extra horseys when u get the header. i would look into the powerbomb header as well as the yoshi. (im not sure which 1 is better) my .02

I got a yosh slip on from Marcums and wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world!

Where do you notice the power bottom to mid , or mid to top, or all around!!!!!!!!:)

I noticed power increases everywhere. The best part is, it isn't near as loud as the Big Gun, T-4 or WB E-series. I have yet to be beat by a stock 400 with any other pipe. Me and my neighbors bike are exactly the same except the pipe, his T-4 and my Yosh and I beat him off the line pretty easily then the top speeds we are about the same. Even if we trade bikes it is about the same.

What is the diffence in the yosh. comp. and the yosh. racing pipes?

What a coincidence...I have a Yosh. slip on for sale! :)

I bought it from Marcums a couple months ago, yes it his really high quality, and looks awesome, isn't as loud as my HMF, which I bought for more low-mid power instead of the Yosh. which I think is a mid-top pipe.

Still looks pretty, all the origional stuff with it, PM me if ya interested.

Thanks

I run the yoshi slip on, great mid/top pipe. Bought the TEC kit, put in the smaller one of the two in the kit, lost a little top end, but my low end torque is great!

It is with the dynojet needle and it is one leaner than what it recommends. With it where is was supposed to be I would just hit the gas and blah. It would almost die if I just kept it pinned. Now it reves right up and goes.

The nice part about the Yoshi is the power is even from start to finish,it doesnt peak up and them drop like some of the others, which is very important if you like to climb, tried out the full system on the 400ex this wk. end at the dunes, and let me tell you....HUGE DIFFERENCE in hp. compared to the slip on,I highly reccomend YOshi told us it would gain 3-4 HP, and you can definaltly tell the difference

BTW~~~ We talked to five other 400ex out at St. Anthonys that couldnt make it up a few dunes (thunder mnt.)said they just embarresed themselves. They were using FMF all of them. Not dogging FMF,just saying that it doesnt perform the same

I've got the titanium pipe, and I love it. It's not very loud, and the gains were really good (with a K&N and jetting). I added a 14 tooth front sprocket, and now I can climb big dunes in 3rd and sometimes 4th, instead of revving the piss out of 2nd gear.
