I was just wondering how you can tell if a pairs fake or not, i just baught a pair off my parents friend because he got a new pair and he always buys the best stuff and i paid nothing for them they were pretty much given to me so i was just wondering how you could tell if they were fake thanks

Post a picture? Look on the web to see if they look alike. Do you have the o-frame or the crowbar?

Pop the lens out, if the cut around it is really smooth, they're real. If it is somewhat rough and jagged, they are fake.

Well there not brand new or anything, there like a few years old, and i can see through the frame and where the lenses are it looks to be smooth. Heres some pics.

do the lens check thing like posted.

but i've been told to that something to do with the word oakley over the nose piece. that something with the letters is different with the fake one's, but i dont know.

I did compare the letters to another pair of oakleys and they were identical, and usually they say the fake oakleys writing on the nose peice wears of in no time, and these glasses are a couple years old and they still look very new

i have the same ones! except the frame on mine is gray. im pretty sure there fake because i bought them for $10 dollars at a vendor in Laconia (motorcycle event) mine came with a oakley glass's case but i always thought they were a lot of money....

anyone know a good place to get cheap oakleys or some fake oakleys?

streets of new york. get about 5 new pairs of foakleys everytime i go.

reals ones are made in the US. It says "Made in the USA" on the side. The real lettering will not sratch off the nose piece unlike the fake ones. I have a real pair of twentys, and then 3 pairs of fake ones.


The fake lenses do chit, the real work. plain and simple
