Would you trade?

I have an offer to trade my 00 ex for an 01 or 02 660 raptor bored to 686. My ex is stock except a slip on pipe, k&n filter, & nerf bars. I do mostly trail riding, and was planing to do a 426 or 440 upgraded this winter for more power. Im going to check out the rappy tonight to see what else is done to it.
But does this seem like a good trade or should I just upgrade my ex?

well some of the 01 rappy's have had some tranny probelms. you should go to the raptor section and ask them what problems they have had with them. sounds like a good deal only if the thing is hasn't been beaten to death.

Sounds to me like he trying to dump a quad that has problems on you for your stock quad. His has been bored and might have issues... Check it out close if you decide to swap.

I wouldnt trade because the 2001 has tranny problems and he is trying to to trade his piece of **** raptor for your reliable 400EX.
But that just me

basically man go on what you like. if you want something that will be broke every time that you wanna ride get the rappy if not keep what you got. what you got is more reliable

Keep the 400ex, like everyone else said, its more reliable, you know how its been treated, and you are more used to riding it. You will be happy when you upgrade to 426 or 440. I love the power increase on my 440.
