1994 300ex start switch PLEASE HELP!!

My start switch broke and it's spendy to buy a new one, I cant find a used 1994 300ex switch on ebay so im just curious if there is a way to maybe build a toggle switch used only for starting and turing off the quad?

Can you guys help me? any suggestions would be very helpfull, im stuck!!!:(

CRF Push button kill switch is comonly used as a start button when replacing the clutch perch, switch assembly.

So that CRF is just used for a kill switch, what do I use for a start switch?

You can make whatever kind of toggle switch you want. all ya gotta do is take the switch apart and pay attention to where the starter button wire is and mark it to remember. then mark the off/run/off button wires and the other ones are the lights. just get a lil toggle button for the starter, and alil toggle switch for the others. i've had to do the samething.

On Ebay i've seen a 300ex run/starter switch for 42 bucks +shipping. it doesn't have to be from a 94 model. 93-06 will work. the 250x doesn't have a starter so you can't use them.

Are you sure I can use 03-06 300ex start switches? What about trx 300 4x4 start switches, could I use those as well? I went on ebay and found some switches but they are usually for a 4x4 or have some choke switch on it, my 1994 300ex switch doesnt have a choke setting on it. This is what is confusing me as what to buy.


I talked to BIg Valley Honda and they said all years wont fit my 1994 300ex because they have different model numbers.
