Hello guys,

Just curious, has anyone had any problems with their block plates? Say leaking, or just any general problems.
I was told by someone that they usually leak.

I have one from Lonestar and I am getting ready to install it, any hints or tips would be appreciated....

Thanks

When I put my Lonestar plate on all I did was take the old linkage off the cailiber and bolt the new plate on. Took about 45 seconds.

The only thing I didn't like was the linkage had a rubber o-ring where it met to the caliber, and with the Longstar plate u can't use an o-ring.
I haven't noticed any leaking yet tho, has been on there for about a month.

just use a little RTV Silicone Sealant.

or Hondabond if you feel like wasting money

i have had my lonestar peace on for two years with no probs or leaks. i have see people run no block off and still have no parking break so i wouldnt think that much of it for just not having a groove for the o-ring.

The only reason for a leak around the block off is if your caliper seals are shot.

I put a little RTV silicone on mine. Not so much for it leaking, but figured it would help keep the dirt and water out.

Theres no fluid where that plate goes. If it leaks you have a diffrent problem.
