You can turn the screw out or bump the pilot jet up.

I am not too familiar with the 450 carb, but it should be a little brass screw on the bottom of the carb.

As to which one is easier......... the screw is a fine tuner which has its limits while rejeting the pilot jet has a much bigger range. It all depends on how much of a change you really need.

well it hesitates when you punch the throttle quick to lift up i have a slip on HMF and they sent me a 125 jet with it which is wrong i think because you should run like a 165 i thought i dont know it isnt running right though i adjusted the screw out it was 1 and 3/4 turns out i moved it to 2 and 1/2 turns out
