hi guys. planning on running the harescramble this sunday in wedron. district 17. i will be in older class, as i am 44. this is my first race, so my goal is just to complete the race, unscathed! lol i have a 04 400ex, and to me, it runs very well. gps'd at 71 mph. which i will never do again lol.i am a woods, trails, and some track riding, a few small jumps, tabletop every once in a while. how is the track at wedron? very technical, or pretty regular. i moved up from a 98 300ex, so there is a huge diff in performance i am slowly but surely getting used too. i am 5'10 250. and i can pop the throttle in 3rd and wheelie now....great feeling! hope to see some of you there, make some new friends, and get some riding tips.!

The course has a little bit of everything, but overall pretty friendly.

That's good advice, I just hope to get to bed before midnight before I have to get up at 5:30 to make it to webron on time for the race. I'm normally the last one on the line as I scramble to get ready.

The great thing about working is it won't take me 2 days to recover:D

did you do any damage to the quad?

I saw 3 quads get towed back (2 with broken tierods and the sportsman 500 that rolled down the hill)

i hit so hard, that it bent my tie rod almost to a c, lol and pushed my steel nerfs into my rear tire!. i didnt get towed, but had to baby it up the back road to my truck, 1 wheel pointing straight, the other pointing off to the left. lol bought a new rod w/ends for 20 bucks. not bad.taking those wheel spacers off too!! they are good for flat track and motocross, but LOUSY for woods!!! think im goin to the 1 in casey on the 15th july. whats their tracks like?

first of all it is very dusty it is also very fast you will get into 5th gear the woods aren't to tight there. I think that race is a 2 hours long.
