which is the best pipe for a 400ex?

i was wondering what pipe is the best for a 400ex and it cant be to loud. i wanted to get a big gun but them pipes r whicked loud.

get a yoshimura. thats what i ordered and itll be here wednesday. It can be relativly quiet with their quiet core and htey are supposed to be loud with out it but not quite as loud as other pipes. I odnt know yet ill post about it once i get it on

The bigguns aren't loud with the quiet core. they read in at 94 dec. they help to give u more off the bottom.

my friend told me that the big gun pipes crack when there hot is that true? and how many dec are the stock pipes?

Don't know 'bout the cracking, but the stock pipes run about 88 dec.

The Pro Circuit is about 96 db and gives a lot of power or you can buy an HMF and put the quiet core in it and it should be 95-96 db, and they give alot of power and are not very expensive. Only about $217 for a slip-on.

don't maen to burst your bubble, but the hmf with the quiet core is 97dec. i called them the other day because i've been searching around for quiet pipes that produce power.
