View Full Version : solution to crappy design of stock toolbox

well here it is one of the little clips broke so a sit there fo bout 10 min lookin at it and had an idea i drilled 2 holes and put couple of screws in those holes and wrapped a peice of wire around the screws

or ive seen you could buy some 3 inch diameter pvc pipe and buy some screw on end caps. then mount that on your front bumper some how. it looked really nifty and cool. i might do that.

i would use pvc, BUT i have some experience with pvc-constructed-potato-projectors :p and those damn endcaps get stuck too much

weel i have to have this toolbox. i take y quad a bunch of different places and my chain needed to be adjusted once and my uncle didnt have the tool. i also carry keys in there also. i know some people say the airpox is a good place for stuff but i wanted the keep my stock toolbox for easy access. i also cant drive and didnt have a way to go to the hardware store so i make do with waht i have

The cap is a problem but that looks like it was made i mexico ha ha

I lost my cap the first time I took my 400 out riding. All I did was wrap the inside with about 3 layers of electrical tape and damn did it work good.
