kickstart locks up

Has anybody had any proplems with there kickstart locking up? Almost feels like the motor has seized up, but its just that the kickstart has gotten stuck and wont move. Anybody heard of this?

I had it happen one time when I accidentally kicked it over while it was rolling backwards. I tried to bump start it and it loosened everything back up and all was fine.

definately gotta get it checked out. if you're lucky, it's just a valve hitting the piston.

We had the same problem it was the gear on the kick drum. It had a few nicks in the gear.
