Can Someone show me some pictures of the motor mount that has to be welded on an 86 frame to run a 88/89 swingearm. Do I have to cut a current mount off and move it, or just add another mount to the frame?

i thought they were interchangeable? i had always heard all you need to run it is the linkage off an 86

no, you need a rear motor mount welded in. also the 88 swinger is 1" shorter than a 86/87 and your shock will be off, you should use the right linkege piece too.

I can use my stock shock. How can I run a no-link setup? What are some Custiomixing jobs I can do with my swingarm.

Just weld the cut brackets on the bottom of the frame .. It works great and is very strong!

Sweet. Could I possibly just run my shock bolted directly to my frame and swinger and toss out the linkage altogether?
