I am looking for a full exhaust that does not go over 99db(sound limit to race here) with a stock engine, then eventually a modified engine(HRC, higher comp. piston, etc..). Also looking at a good quality exhaust and if there is an optional quiet core/spark arrestor. Looking along the lines of Yoshimura, Pro Circuit, DMC, Dr.D, White Brothers, LRD, Trinity Racing, Rossier, Dasa, etc.. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.

Thank you, trx400exxracer, a buddy of mine has the previous full sport series system on his 450R and absolutely rips, but crazy loud!! Do you know for sure if it's 96db? And, does it take away much power? I'm asking because to race this year, the limit is 102. Next year will be 99. The following year will probably 96.

Anyone else?

i think it is 96 with quiet core but send hmf a e-mail and ask them

Dr. D and DMC you might want to check into those too

I am going to just run a hrc end cap and hrc header on my 450er

You have a sparks pipe that is at 98? That is amazing, my sparks pipe is ATLEAST 102. You must be lucky at sound check or somethin.

the rossier with the supertrap end cap will make it

12 discs 98-100 actual power increase

10 discs 95-97 just a fraction of a horse decrease

i have this set up and it isnt all that loud with the 10 in there but the 12 has a quiet idel but it loud once you open it up

440exkid actually everybody that has a sparks pipe has passed. Actually the worcs people have said that sparks is one that passes everytime. You cant have the big core but that doesnt matter It really doesnt make any power differance anyways. My motor has a cam in it but thats all. Doug eichner passes everytime with his Duncan fatboy4

I run the HRC end cap and header. I blow 95 db's.

I'm not convinced that any aftermarket pipe can blow low db's without flying apart. They might work, but for how long before you have to repack them, and replace the silencer because it is trying to blow itself apart.

The aftermarket exhaust companies need to step it up if you ask me. The quiet cores, discs--It's just not the answer. The pipes need to be made out of stronger material, and they will need to be bigger. This=HEAVY, but atleast we can ride.

It's very hard to beat the HRC pipe on the '06.

I should also add that I have welded a turn down end cap onto the back of my HRC baffle (to get to 95db's). I was blowing about 96-97 db's without the turn down.
