A lot of people put the 250r hoods on there 300ex. I've seen a 450r hood on one before too. It just takes a little but of trimming.

I'm not sure, but I know a couple people on here have done it. You would just have to buy one and look at it and see what needs trimmed.

Here is a pic of a 250r hood on a 300. This isn't mine it is 300ex73's.

Yeah mine looks near the same and i have to say it makes the 300 look 100% better. It is a maier and they make it colored or a carbon fiber look. I haave the black and all i did was cut my tank plastic a little and bolted her right up.

I think this one is either 400ex, or 450r. I couldn't find a better picture, but its elka83's 300ex.

can a 250r race hood be put on a 300 with stock plastics?? I ask this because all the 300 I see with 250r race hoods have aftermarket plastic.
