I have a 2003 300ex and was wondering if the starter will turn a 12.1 compression piston? an 11.1?

Btw the piston is going to be an .08 piston if that matters

It should. I know a couple guys who have 12:1 pistons and the stock starter turns then over just fine. In the winter you might want to run a thinner oil though.

Aye, it will turn my 330 11:1 over just fine.

However, you really need to keep the battery on a battery tender. If you're battery goes south at all, you're hosed.. lol.

mine turns over my 385 with high comp no problem.I did have to replace the brushes on the starter(to cheap to buy another starter:D ) because when they start to wear they will give the symptoms of a weak battery.Once i did that it was good to go.Try to keep the battery with a good charge in cases of bigger bores.
