Hey Folks,

I'm new here, but it looked like you were the people to turn to for some info. . .

I'm a tall rider (6'7" or so) and my knees and the end of my handlebars tend to be in the same spot at the same time, which doesn't work out to be alot of fun.

This is on my 06 450ER. I realize not too many people are gonna have this problem , but I have to start somewhere.

Any suggestion for bars and any info about cable changes that was necessary for the bars would be greatly apprieciated.

Thanks!

well i went with trail tech and it let me decide what size bars i wanted. I had the choice of haveing them sit low, mediam, or high. So u could prolly go with high trail tech bars. Or u could go with tag.

If I was you what I would do is put a Moose Racing bar raising clamp (which can raise the bar a little over 2inches,making your sterring stem like a +2 aftermarket one) and also buy a high bend bar. This probably would be your cheapest solution.

GIXXER1KR, can you send me some pics of your quad at all angles? I like those rear tires, and i read in another post that they are 22's. I'm interested in trying them out. But, i don't want something that looks big and balloony like utility tires. Know what i mean??

sorry to rob this post.

along with higher bars, longer stem, etc, you can get ac racing's relocated peg nerf bars...they move the pegs back AND down on inch. my friend has them on his bike and it helped him out.

Yeah I'm Speedy's friend and I did the AC relocated pro pegs Nerfs along with a Trail Tech clamp and Tag T2 CR High Bend Bars....you are alot taller than I...I am around 6'1" and my 06 felt cramped to me...and this setup helped the feel of the bike alot...the bars are wider than the stock set...which may help you.....but you could even go with a set of higher bars than the CR High's.....
