Time for a 450

why dont u just sell ur 400ex motor u have now on ebay or on this site

and then buy a 450r motor

they you'd have a k!ck @ss bike and a 450r motor in it for prolly like $300
(u get $800 for ur motor and then buy a 450r motor for $1100 or so)

and u have all ur other stuff on it (pipe, aarms, suspension) all that stuff already on it and u wouldnt have to pay thousands of $$$$ on a 450r

Deff give that a try.. That bike is awesome!

or a crf450 motor...
or a yz426 motor...

z426 will rip...my friends dad had the bike. he used to race pro. and he loved it. im sure u'd love the motor too (but the crf would be a better choice i think)

I see where all you guys are coming from but I think I will be able to get alot better if I move up to a 450. I was thinking about putting a 450 motor in mine but ive decided not to. I want to start over with something new to me.

im putin a 450r engine in my quad. If I wasent busy with my new job I would have it done by now. If you have a welder and know basic welding it wont take long to do the swap.

I have just started, it fits in there mint.

Wow, yea.... The ammount of time into that would make it hard to let go of. I also noticed that shifter though... ive seen high shifters but that looks impossible to shift with :blah:

yeah I cant just do as good on my 400 I have reached my peak on that thing I cant ride it any harder or it will probably blow up I just need to upgrade like you

Exactly! theres a whole different level when your on a 450 to me. I can feel myself progress more and more in everything. Jumping, starting and cornering. Last Sunday I raced my buddies 470r:eek: It was badarss! I got the holeshot and ended up with second. It was awsome to do that on a bike I have never rode.

Yeah, we got the spindle fixed and decided to sell and get a 450....We were told that we had to go up to B next year...Need a little more power for that....Coming to Millers Sat? hey there, ya i fractured my ankle i'll be off of it for at least 6 weeks and my knee is messed up i'm going to probly need surgey on that. i'm in a wheel chair write now but hopful not o long. I'll be back sooner or later

Dayumn man...Sorry to hear that...I knew you wern't feeling too good when you all left....I know you want to go bad but take your time and heal up good before you get back out....I guess it's going to be up to Ian or Travis to take Millers now....(hope so) Ian has the power and ability but he needs to leave the barrels alone....:D
