I have a 88250r with an 85 350x engine and was wondering if anyone else is using this setup cause I just bought and love it but the guy moved the gas tank up about an inch to clear the carb and the seat wont fit properly so I was wondering if I could modoify the tank, or carb, or manifold? Any advice would greatly help.

I would try spacing the tank up instead of forward. See if you can flip the carb boot upsidedown or something. IF you can post a pic, I may be able to help more.
