Hey wheres the VIN number stamped at on my '88 Frame?

[250R-Dee]

According to the Shop manual the serial number for the '88-'89 frame is located on the crossbar between the shock tower.

'86-'87 - there is a tag welded to the left side of the frame where the lower subframe arm connects to the mainframe.
