i have been looking for a r for about 2 years on and off and havent had much succses. well i get a call from one of my buddys he know where there one checked it out to day and it looked better then i expected. its been sitting for 4 months and started on the 3 kick it has a 310 strocker and the whole rear end is after market some billet parts straight frame and some other stuff. he wants 2500 for it. now the problem no title or bill of sale does any one know any laws about getting something to get around this in NY please help.

WHy can't the seller produce a bill a sell. All he has to do is write a receipt saying he sold you the quad (serial # blah blah blah) for $2500. Have your buddy witness the transaction by also signing the receipt. Make sure ALL of the users contact info is on the receipt.

If the seller can not do this then that is probably a stolen quad since it has lots of nice parts but is being sold cheap.:chinese:
