I am thinking of buying a Baja 150 Sport for my husband. He is a new rider. What do you think of this Make?

I have never heard of it:confused:

Stick with the name brands- Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris, Kawasaki, Bombardier, or Arctic Cat.

Some good begginer machines would be a Yamaha Blaster, Honda 250ex, or Honda 300ex.

Out of the beginner quads, i'd say a 300ex or Warrior. If he is your husband, i assume he is a descent sized guy, and the blaster might be too small size wise, and the 250ex might not be enough power. You could get him a used 400ex cheap too, those have good size and great power, but it wouldn't overwhelm him as a new rider. I'm with BlasterEaten250, stick with name brands.

i agree with the above, stick with the name brands and maybe look into somthing a little larger like a 400 so he wont get bored with it after the first couple of days...

Baja 150 haha, thats the POS they sell over at Pep Boys. DO NOT BUY THAT CRAP! You will be throwing your money away.

Like everyone else said, buy a known and trusted brand, like Honda. You will be happy you did.

I would reccomend a used Honda 400ex. Great beginning quad for someone 20+, and you will never really need to upgrade. And, damn near bulletproof to boot.

depends on what year you want my friend bought a good used 03 400ex for 2800 ive seen some as low as 2000

honda says 5900 most dealers would go about 5000-5500 with little or no haggle. i say buy used imo there is no point to buying a new quad.

Yeah the bajas are junk as is most of the taiwanese knock offs.:( If you cant get the loot for a used honda but insist on buying a cheapo,go with a kymco,they are built a bit better but i would still prefer a honda;)
