Who should I call to come out and fix a whole in my wall? Its through one side of the sheetrock, and its the size and shape of someone's rear end:)
Should I just call the carpenter?

i am a fix-it yourself type of person.just buy some sheet rock,cout out the rear-ended piece,cut to spec,tapeit,float it,patch it.texture it,paint it.really easy. but if ya dont want to do it,call a carpenter,but be prepared to pay.
My dad owns his own business and he can do it. We live by Hammond, Louisiana and He has his General contractor license and everything. PM me and I will give you his #.
He has the best of the best drywall men.

If i was you I would patch it yourself. I knocked a hole in the wall one time when I was 16 while my parents were out of town one weekend and I called to get a price estimate and it was around $250 to get it fixed. I said screw that went to home depot & spent about $60 on puddy mix, sheet rock, texture and and a do-it-yourself book. I had it fixed in about 2 and a half hours and my parents still to this day have no idea about the hole in the wall. I used what is called a butterfly patch. Its really simple.

sheetrock is easy to fix, so just do it yourself. this can be a good time to learn something new.
