computer desktop

i was messin around on the computer and somehow my icons got messed up, how do i get rid of the white boxes around the words under my desktop icons. it used to just be clear and show the desktop background image but now their is a white box around the words:huh

right click on ur desktop and go to properties, go to appearances and change the color..

i dont need to change the color, i want it to back to being clear

change the color scheme to default and it will be clear.....
