difference from 89 to 87 plastics?

What is the difference between 86-88 rear plastic and the 89 plastic? two different part #s. i have a hybrid and im buying new plastic for it and im not sure which one to go with.

86 and 87 have handlebar mounted headlights. The 88 and 89 have a hood mounted headlight, resembling a much more aggresive 250EX. The 89 was different than the 88 because it only came in white, while the 88 only came in red.
