Can anyone shed some light on this.I cant figure out what this is on my reciept the dealer charged me $499 for Optional Equip.& Accee. when all I bought was the quad,extended warranty,theft insurance,and insurance for the loan to be paid if i was outta work.I didnt notice till this week end when i had to dig out all my reciepts because the dealer installed the filter kit in wrong damaging my filter.Just wanna make sue because when i bough my street bike all i was charged was Vehicle price and sales tax!!!Looks like they charged me twice for the GAP/Theft!!!

i don't know about the optional equip charge. the gap was 499, sales tax 264, and licence and title was 339. i think you still got screwed cuz i got mine out the door for $6200

OMG they didnt even use any lube!!!! i have never heard anyone paying that much. mine was 6300 taxes, everything! alls I can say is buuummmer

Right and they screwed up my filter when they installed it wrong and only want to pay for 1/2!!!Id hate to need the warranty!!!

i have never heard of anyone paying list price for a 450 before.

lonestar_r bought the first 06 450r at our local shop back in october or november and his total was way less than that...and when i bought mine from the same place in february, it was even cheaper

If you have the HRC kit....then, that is probably the charge for parts and install.

WOW that makes me feel beter. I over paid for mine but it was the first one the dealer sold to the public and there was 2 people standing in line hoping i failed my credit check. I only paid like $7300.00 OTD

my dealer will not even sell the GAP even of you wanted it .

That is crazy! I only paid 6250 out the door, no extended warrenty on my 05 last year! That is just plain crazy

GIXXER1KR: Next time PM me for the best deals in the New England from Greater Boston Motorsports or Ronnies. You can get almost 2 450r's for that price. I didn't even pay that for a Rincon 700 GPS with a lift, wheels, tires, winch, and trailer.
