Underglow!!!

Yea, its underglow for my quad :D :cool:

I used the Electropods kit I found at Royal Distributing. 12 LEDs in two pods, i wouldnt mind another kit so i could make the back also glow. Definatly sick looking when i roll up to parties :D

where did you get those, and how much?

do they draw much power?

Royal Distributing has them for 19 bucks Canadian, and no.. they dont draw much power at all.

You should get more of them so that it lights up all around. It is cool, but it looks kinda silly just coming from the front.

But about the parties... Youd be suprised what a kid in the country does to get to parties when they cant get a ride :D

I just bought four trailer side marker lights from Walmart, buck fifty each, and hooked one up in each fender, wired to a switch. They aren't near as bright as that, but they glow pretty good for being under 8 bucks to do. Flyin-Low, those LED's you put on your 400 look damn nice though! :cool:

You know, those do look like they give a really good lighting area. Lots of space is covered.

There's a guy on ebay that has a whole kit. You can even buy 2 extra pods. I have one kit on my red Z400 and on my new build I'm adding a whole kit plus two more. He has them in chrome and black. Lots of colors. Here's a pic of some on my Z400, one kit.

Oh, just go to ebay and type in electropod or electropods.

haha, i ride my fourwheeler to all the parties i can, whether i can get a ride or not, i love pulling into a party on my fourwheeler, its like rolling up in a nice car, maybe even get a nice wheelie up the driveway, its just fun....

Yea, it should work on the 250R, LEDs take up very little power and as long as theres a place you can hook them up you should be rollin' in style.

Hmm, I'm not exactly sure, but they're just leds, I doubt they draw much power. I haven't had a problem.

I had mine running at night at Little Sahara over spring break, they look pretty bad@$$ from a distance, and they make it easier to stay with your group. The guys i went with had a strobe on their 400ex, which was great too. If we lost someone in the dark, we'd pull up on a dune and just let it run.

I have those electropods on my 400 also, IT makes it look sick! I put one light under my gas tank right above the header, I also put the other light in the little dimple under the air box. I got them at little sahara. It is a easy installation anyone can do it. I accidentally left mine on for an hour and a half and the 400 still started.

We put one on each nerf bar pointing towards the engine and when it reflects off the chrome it looks amazing.

Im not really sure on electircal, but couldnt you put some silicon or a type of covering over it to keep water and dirt out? I really want to do this for mine...
