Some of you may know I bent my axle. It really isn't that bad, but I don't want to wreck the bearings I just replaced. Before I go out and spend $130 on a new one, could I just bring it to a shop and have them bend it back? What are your guy's experience with this?

it can be bent back, but it wont ever be perfectly straight again. i think it might be a little weak where the bend is anyway. i would go for a new one, an extended one too so your 250 is alot more stable.

on my 200x the axle was bent and straigtened. Over time it bent back to where riding on gravel road it is noticable. I would buy a new axle and be done.

Most axles that come right from the factory that have never been ridden on are not perfectly straight. Dont bother bending it back, just save some coin and get a new one. The metal has already yielded and it would be very easy to do so again, dont even bother wasting your time.
