LETS SEE SOME PICS
Concise, u seem to be exactly right . The thing is that some people seem to think it is a conversion and thats not the case. I called mark laeger and he told me that the frame was built to fit any yz motor. It is an awesome quad with no cracks, welds, holes etc. Also it is 250r geom. and is also a narrow chassis. Mark told me that one of the very diffrent things about the quad is that everything including the t-pin frontend is setup for xc! If ur interested please give me a call and we will work something out. Or if u want to u could give me ur no. and ill call u. I pmed u.
Shift_450r, yes the shocks will fit a 400ex and they are standard travel.
bradrychlik, i do not know how to post pics on here. If u can tell me how then i will do so. Thanks

Here is a pic from a couple weeks ago. I already sold this motor, i will post updated, better pics of the quad the way it looks now. The new pics i have are of everything except a motor. Although i do still have the 99 YZ400 motor. I am not sure whether or not to part out or sell whole. In order to part out i need to sell more expensive, larger parts first. Let me know what u think and what u might be interested in and i will decide from their. Like i said i will have better pics up this afternoon!!!
thanks
Here is a pic of the cr500 rear:
