The stock chain doesn't have a masterlink. Motion Pro has a nice chain breaker or you can grind down the pins with a Dremel tool and push them out.

Is it fairly easy to put a masterlink in it? I think that is what i plan on doing tomorrow. Good idea? I am kinda low on cash, or i would just buy a new link. All i need to do is take a link or possibly at most 2 out. Thanks, Kelley

WHy do you need to remove a link or two?

Chain is super loose, even tried tightening it from behind by taking the 4 bolts off and rotating the carrier. STILL LOOSE!!!!
So i think ill try taking some links out and putting a master link in.

Better yet, replace your old stretched out chain. You should replace your sprockets at the same time too.

Ive already replaced both sprockets, i am just doing this for a kind of temporary fix. I am only 17 and dont make to much money, so a dollar 50 sounded alot better than 60 for the chain i want to get. Thanks, Kelley

Got it. Just make sure you know the risks of running a worn out chain--it could cost you more in the end.
