And for people who dont have access to Welders...metal fab shops, this one looks pretty safe to me!

i would use wood sealer or hardwood poly urathane on it but i wouldnt use it more than two months but i deff hit it

I'd definatly hit it, aslong as its well built, nothing wrong with a wooden ramp!
