quick ? about 400ex tail light

I just put an aftermarket blue led tail light on my ex and my stock one has been burned out so long i don't remember if the tail light stays on all the time, stays on and gets brighter when the brakes are applied or is off until the brakes are applied. right now it just stay on at the same brightness once the lights are turned on. How is it sopposed to be? It is an 04'

Mine is an '03 and nothing happend when you push the brakes. When you turn the lights on, the tail kight just stays on all of the time.

A blue LED sounds awesome, i have a red one....do you have any pics of yours?

I don't have any pics yet but it is frickin bright. it's got 40 LED's even in the day light you can't look strait into it, I feel sorry for the guy who has to ride behind me between the new razr IIs kickin up rocks and the bright light it's gotta suck.:D

Yeah. Only the 05/06 models have a brake light.
