Hello i am new to this sport I dont race but just a weekend rider I have a 400ex And I will be pulling the motor out this weekend.
I have searched but could not find any how tos or tips. would anyone like to shear any tips or mabe right up a how to.

A service manual is probably the best "How To" you're going to find.

it is pretty simple. It took me and my dad an hour and a half to take the junk one out and put a new one in it. The motor comes out the easiest if you tip it to the right side and then take it out.

Why are you pulling the motor out anyway? Rebuild time?

make sure you keep up with all the bolts and know where they go
