Is that the same engine that Adam Parks had in it or is that a new one ??

If that's the one that Parks had in the frame before .... grab it and throw it off the tallest cliff or into the bottom of a lake .

Ya ... it didn't sound right in the video .... instead of that nice pinging noise , it sounded like the engine was struggling/sluggish .... but maybe it's just the sound on the video . :confused:

either that or he didnt have it warmed up yet you know how 2-strokes are when they are warmed up

you could send it to a engine builder if it is even worth it you could just resale it:confused:

I'm telling you man ...... grab a few salvageable parts off of it and take the whole core of the engine and use it as a boat anchor .

That motor has been raped and abused and tried to be fixed 1 too many times .

You're right , Adam doesn't know how to build anything ... that's why the engine probably had silicone in the water jackets and a throttle housing packed full of grease .

And to think , I almost paid $10 000 for that quad when he had it .... it used to have full Gibson suspension all around and a few other things .

Didnt you put new gaskets when you put it back togather?

If I were you travis, I'd get rid of that motor or try and atleast patch it then save and get a well built 265. I'll help you along the way as well. :)

or you cna just buy a whole new bottm end off ebay.:) maybe a 450 motor:confused: or maybe a nice gixxer motor:chinese: naa j/k

id just look into getting a whole new engine or something. Ive seen some go for like 600 on ebay.

this is what im gonna try...only gonna cost me 100 bxu to do...

full new gasket kit...new water pump seal...all new coolent hoses..different coolent(dont think it would make a difference) some new studs for the bottom of the motor (these are junk anyways) jet the carb...then see what i got for a quad

oh yeah...and there wasnt any silicone IN the motor...he just covered the whole outside with it haha

LMAO ..... Next time I see Adam around , I'll make sure to kick him in the nuts for you . He doesn't seem to show up at too many races anymore ... I think there's a bounty on his head .... he's screwed over too many people , including a few Canadian Pro riders . Last I heard , he was being taken to court over the rims he sold me when I had my YFZ . Someone , somewhere down the line didn't get their money for the rims !!!!:ermm:

He always had this thing about telling people he was a Pro rider .... yet I never seen him throw a leg over the seat of a quad .

there's gotta be a loose hose or something simple that's leaking the coolant all over the place like that. I wouldn't tear into her just yet.

Thats no loose hose. You can see the coolant is mixed with the oil. Like Pvt. Maggot said, I'd guess the waterpump seal. When the coolant hits the crankcase, it with the oil is filling up the case, and gushing it out. If ya keep running it like that, or even keep coolant sitting in it, its gonna trash the bearings.:(

Mine pees too :D It's probably the float level isn't set right. That's what mine was. I can get it to where it stops leaking while I have the engine on, but it always leaks while its off unless I turn off the gas. If I set it to where it stops leaking it runs like ****.
